Online marketplace of foreclosure properties, RealtyTrac, in its first U.S. Foreclosure Sales Report, revealed Wednesday that first-quarter foreclosure homes contributed nearly a third of all U.S. residential sales. In the corresponding quarter last year, foreclosure homes accounted for 37% of all residential sales. The average distress sales price was $171.97 thousand.
